On Wednesday’s episode of Bigg Boss 2 Telugu, the show was all about breaking gender stereotype. The housemates were divided into a girls and boys team and were asked to win tasks to get control of different regions in the house. While one of the tasks was to play kabaddi, the other two tasks centered on breaking gender stereotypes. Men are supposed to change tyres of cars and women cry at the drop of a hat were two preconceived notions that were subverted on the show.
Three women from the Bigg Boss House were asked to change a flat tyre and a book with directions was also given. Pooja, who knew how to change tyres led her team to victory. With the help of Shyamala and Deepthi, she changed the tyres within the allotted time, which was 10 minutes.
Four men from the other team were then asked to cry. Samrat, Kaushal, Roll Rida and Ganesh chose to come forward for the task and completed it successfully. After the task was complete, the contestants had to explain what they had thought of and each of them recalled an emotional incident from their life, which brought them to tears.
Samrat said that for the longest time he had taken his parents for granted and when something bad happened in his life, he understood their importance. Even after the task concluded, Samrat was upset. Sunainaa and Geetha had to console him to get him out of the emotional zone.
